CONSULT WITH A HEALTH PROFESSIONAL FIRST: Grape Seed Extract (GSE), along with a pine bark extract (Pycnogenol®), has been classified as an oligomer proanthocyanidin (OPC) or sometimes, procyanidolic oligomer. GSE has antioxidant properties, and works with vitamin C in connective tissue maintenance. Researched since the 1950s by Jack Masquelier, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus, University of Bordeaux, OPCs have been shown to be beneficial in many areas. Supplementation may prevent, or be helpful with, the following conditions:

  • Aging
  • Allergies (allergic rhinitis, hay fever)
  • Atherosclerosis (heart disease)
  • Capillary Fragility (bruising)
  • Diabetes
  • Inflammation (including bursitis)
  • Macular Degeneration
  • Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS)
  • Raynaud's Disease
  • Retinopathy
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • Varicose Veins
  • Wound Healing
